Synopsis

Andy McGee met and feel in love with Vicky when they were earning money by participating in an experiment in college, in which they were given a dose of a chemical identified as LOT-6.  This experiment appears to have given Andy the ability to "push" people, make them do what he wants.  And now Andy and Vicky are married and have a 9-year-old daughter, Charlene "Charlie" McGee, who has the ability to start fires at will, also as a result of the experiment back in college.  Now "The Shop" (run by Doctor Joseph Wanless), the secret government department who carried out  the experiment, are pursuing Andy and Charlie, even killing poor Vicky in order to get her out of the way. Wanless and his organization want to study both Andy and Charlie and their abilities and the Shop has sent a sniper named John Rainbird to find Andy and Charlie.  What Wanless and his group underestimate is what Andy and Charlie are willing to do to protect each other.
